Biography

Ms. Kritika Seth is a lawyer with her primary areas of expertise being Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment laws. She has a distinctive understanding of the legal and commercial business of the Industry.

Within a brief period of over 8 years, she has managed to stand out in both, Contracting as well as Litigation. She is known to regularly advise and represent various songwriters, music producers, singers, film directors, actors, authors, screenwriters, production houses, independent record labels and publishers. Ms. Seth’s work further includes negotiating and advising digital and technology platforms, amongst others. Her key role with her clientele is of advising, structuring, and negotiating deals across all domestic and international production houses and platforms.

Ms. Seth is currently involved in various projects related to IP rights management, documentation, and negotiation for the acquisition of content. She is involved and very meticulous with every project that comes her way. Further, she even ensures and conducts due diligence pertaining to a script, content clearances, and as certaining IP ownership, to ensure transparency and a smooth work process when getting onto new projects.

Ms. Seth believes in forever encouraging new possibilities and never runs away from the role of finding a unique solution to every situation. Keeping in view the boundaries of law, finding something different to work on is one of her expertise.

Ms. Seth has recently been enlisted with the ‘Lex-Falcon Award 2021’ at the LexTalk World’s Global Hybrid Conference 2021.
